Lathe Dog

This lathe dog is used to hold cylindrical work for machining between centers.  It is quite easy to make.  

1. The bar material is 12 mm square mild steel.

The maximum hold range is approximately 50 mm.
2. Machining the end of the bar.

3. Machining the center vee.

4. Completed.
