| CHIP GUARD |
I added acrylic chip guards to my lathe to protect my hands and face from hot chips and the splatter of oil. These guards have proved themselves, but in some cases chips have escaped from the lower side. It may be useful to make the guard a little larger. The chip guards, mounted on stays salvaged from lighting equipment, are easily removed to gain access. |
